2. Enrolment & Confirmation

2.1 Application
Submission of an application form does not constitute enrolment in the Programme. RIDE reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its absolute discretion, without being required to give reasons for any decision.
2.2 Confirmation of Place
Your place in the Programme is confirmed only upon receipt of payment in full. Until payment has been received and acknowledged by RIDE in writing, your place is not guaranteed.
2.3 Cohort Size
The Programme is limited to a maximum of 10 participants per cohort. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment. If the cohort is full at the time your payment is received, RIDE will issue a full refund and offer to place you on a waitlist for a future cohort.
2.4 Minimum Numbers
RIDE reserves the right to cancel the Programme if a minimum number of participants cannot be reached. In this event, all participants will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.
3. Payment & Pricing
3.1 Programme Fees
The following fees apply to the Programme:
-
Early Bird Price: $1,500 NZD (inclusive of GST) — available to participants who complete payment in full on or before 15 April 2026.
-
Standard Price: $1,800 NZD (inclusive of GST) — applies to all registrations where payment is received after 15 April 2026.
3.2 Early Bird Eligibility
The early bird price is locked in at the time full payment is received by RIDE. Submission of an application form without accompanying payment does not secure the early bird price. RIDE is not responsible for processing delays outside its control.
3.3 Payment Methods
Payment must be made by bank transfer. Details will be provided upon receipt of your application.
3.4 GST
All fees stated are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the rate applicable at the time of registration.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
4.1 Cancellation by Participant
If you wish to cancel your Registration, you must notify RIDE in writing to hello@ridehouse.co.nz. The following refund policy applies based on the date written notice is received by RIDE:

More than 28 days before the Start Date - Full refund of Programme fee, less an administration fee of $100
14 to 28 days before the Start Date - 50% refund of Programme fee paid
Less than 14 days before the Start Date - No refund
After the Programme has commenced - No refund, regardless of reason for withdrawal
4.2 Transfers
Your Registration is personal to you. You may not transfer your place to another person without RIDE's prior written consent, which may be granted or withheld at RIDE's discretion. If a transfer is approved, any difference in applicable pricing will be charged or refunded as appropriate.
4.3 Cancellation by RIDE
RIDE reserves the right to cancel the Programme at any time prior to the Start Date. In such circumstances, RIDE will provide as much notice as possible and will issue a full refund of all amounts paid. RIDE's liability in this scenario is limited to the refund of Programme fees paid and does not extend to any other costs incurred by the Participant in connection with the Programme (for example, travel or accommodation costs).
4.4 Programme Modifications
RIDE reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to the Programme, including changes to workshop content, session scheduling, session delivery format, or trainer personnel, where circumstances reasonably require. RIDE will endeavour to notify Participants of any significant changes as soon as practicable. Reasonable modifications do not entitle a Participant to a refund, provided the overall Programme continues to be delivered substantially as described.
4.5 Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where RIDE fails to deliver the Programme with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer law.
5. Health & Physical Readiness

you have consulted a medical professional if you have any doubt about your physical readiness to participate;
-
you will complete the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) provided by RIDE as part of the registration process, and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
5.2 Ongoing Health Obligations
You agree to notify RIDE immediately if your health status changes during the Programme in a way that may affect your ability to participate safely. RIDE reserves the right to suspend your participation if it reasonably believes continued participation poses a risk to your health or safety, or that of other participants.
5.3 Inherent Risk
You acknowledge that participation in the Programme, including riding sessions and physical training activities, involves inherent risk of physical injury, illness, or other harm. RIDE has taken reasonably practicable steps to manage these risks but cannot eliminate them entirely. You voluntarily assume the risks associated with physical participation in the Programme.
5.4 ACC
You acknowledge that, in accordance with the Accident Compensation Act 2001, personal injury suffered as a result of an accident during the Programme may be covered by ACC. ACC cover does not apply to all circumstances, and you should ensure you have appropriate personal insurance in place where relevant.
5.5 Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency during a Programme session, RIDE staff are authorised to call emergency services and take such steps as are reasonably necessary to assist you, including providing first aid. You consent to such actions being taken on your behalf in an emergency situation.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 RIDE's Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIDE's liability to you for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising in connection with the Programme is limited to the Programme fee paid by you. RIDE is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including but not limited to loss of income or opportunity.
6.2 Exclusions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits RIDE's liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by RIDE's negligence;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
-
any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
6.3 Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing during the Programme. RIDE is not responsible for loss of or damage to your personal property during Programme sessions.
7. Attendance & Participant Commitment

-
weekly 1:1 mentoring sessions with the Head Trainer;
-

7.2 Missed Sessions
RIDE is unable to offer make-up sessions or alternative scheduling for sessions missed due to a Participant's absence unless pre-arranged in writing with RIDE at the Participant’s cost. No refund or fee reduction will be provided in respect of sessions missed by the Participant for any reason.
7.3 Availability Concerns
If you have any concern about your availability prior to registering, you are encouraged to contact RIDE to discuss whether the timing of the Programme is suitable for you before completing your registration.
8. No Employment Guarantee
Completion of the LEAD THE RIDE programme does not guarantee, imply, or create any entitlement to a teaching position or other employment at RIDE Cycle House. The Programme is a training and development programme only.
RIDE Cycle House will, where instructor positions become available, give genuine consideration to graduates of the Programme. However, any decision regarding teaching positions remain solely at the discretion of RIDE Cycle House and subject to its standard recruitment processes.
Nothing in these Terms constitutes an offer of employment, and no employment relationship arises from participation in the Programme.

10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Ownership
All workshop materials, course content, resources, frameworks, and other materials provided to Participants during the Programme ("Materials") are and remain the intellectual property of RIDE Cycle House. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to the Participant.

11. Photography, Video & Marketing
11.1 Consent
RIDE Cycle House may photograph or video record Programme sessions and activities for use in marketing, social media, promotional materials, and other business purposes.
